On 9 February 2026 our daughter Nina was born. Sadly, there were complications. They caused brain damage, and nobody could tell us yet what that would mean for her motor skills.

During those weeks in the hospital we started using Stamps. It helped us more than I expected:

• It gave us a place to write down our thoughts and how each day had gone.
• It kept our family and friends up to date, without a thousand WhatsApp messages a day.
• It let us share the small good moments too. That made the people around us more hopeful, and their hope carried us as well.

Over time the app came to mean so much to us that I wanted to help build it. Working at Stamps is my way of giving something back for all the support we received in that hard period.

As I write this, in October 2026, Nina is eight months old. The effects look very mild so far. She is still very young, so there is a lot we don't know yet, but we are hopeful.
